    REPORT FROM GERRITY STONE, WOBURN, MA

    Hi Ho Hi Ho…it’s off to Gerrity Stone we go!  The Grand Banks team made a trip to Gerrity Stone in Woburn recently to tour their facilities and learn about the latest technologies in stone fabricating.  If you do not know about GerrityStone they are a great local stone outfit in Woburn MA.  They have been in the supply game a long time, over 100 years!  Their reputation in the industry is sterling; from showroom to fabrication to staff they are pros.  This has not gone unnoticied, in 2010 they topped the Best of Boston list for kitchen & bath countertops. 

    While we were there one of the discoveries we made was their massive remnant yard.  The sea of beautiful granite, quartz and marble leaves an endless list of possibilities to create striking pieces for your home at a fraction of the cost for the material.  

    That drab looking fireplace in the living room?
    Transform the look with remnant White Carrara Marble for that WOW factor!

    Or what about a stunning coffee table with remnant Flor De Liz Granite?  
    How about a couple custom night stands with Absolute Black Honed Granite?
    Or updating the small vanity in the guest room with Steel Silestone?
    I know I know….you get the point.  The list goes on and on.  The opportunity to use these “leftover” materials in numerous ways has us pretty excited!
