There are so many details that go into designing a home. We’ve said it before and we will likely tell you again. It’s hard to imagine the staggering amount of choices if you’ve never embarked on your own home project. The door style, chair rail, moulding, stair parts, hardware and everything else you can (or can't) think of are all up to you. Are you ready?

This kitchen was designed with Medallion Cabinets, made with Cherry wood and a Pecan stain, the island and hood are made of Maple with an Onyx stain, and the counters are granite.

While all of the decisions can be daunting, remember that they are also exciting. Building your home is your chance to make things just how you want them. Don’t be scared to ask for help. It is a huge task and can be likened to a full time job.

In fact, it is a full time job that some people make into careers. This is your chance to add the details you’ve dreamed of. Like a fire place in your kitchen, bright red cabinets in the laundry room or the master bath of your dreams.

Moral of the story: Carpe Diem.
